This delightful dome is located 3 miles from Crestone at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Forest Service trails are a short distance away.
The interior is both cozy and spacious, with living area on the main floor and a spiral staircase leading to a large loft for yoga, meditation, reading, writing, etc. (total 1300 sq ft).
The dome environment is soothing and nurturing, as the curved spaces create a recirculating flow of air and energy. Outside, the air is often still, with a feeling of quietude and tranquility.
The open-shelf kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and a gas cook range (more on the kitchen soon). The dome is cozy in winter, with radiant floor heat, a wood stove, and an energy-efficient monolithic shell.
The property is backed by a greenbelt and open retreat land, with winding trails that lead through open forest trees to the Yeshe Rangsal Stupa (a 15-minute walk).
Good internet WiFi (15 Mb download speeds) and reasonable cell phone coverage (AT&T and Verizon) are your connections to the outside world (for better or worse!). Sorry, but pets are not allowed, and the property is not suitable for children on account of the open loft and stair railings.

The property is on a quiet side street – passing cars are noteworthy events! The location is perfect for short-term visits or extended retreats. Spiritual centers and other attractions are a short distance away.
